I just thought I'd let you know that I found your new researcher ID and that I've added it to my list of friends - because I find very much of the stuff you write in your journals interesting, although I rarely comment on anything

Thanks for visiting my photo site and posting in my guest book, Alfredo - and yes, I'm an incurable romantic (as well optimist) - is it *that* obvious?smiley - weird

I thought my old space was still on your list..... so I could adjust in secret to the reality that someone in the future could come in and read over my shoulder.
Ambivalent as a am...
I like the attention, but also get shy because of it.

And, yes, your "romanticism" (to give it a lable) is showing clearly.

The world can't live without it, wherever it comes from. Doesn't it?

"dame luz smiley - star y dame vida,
y para seguir cantando,
siempre y siempre mientras viva"

"give me light and life
to go on singing,
for ever and ever,
as long as I live".

("La Esirella" - old Spanish folk song)

Apologies if I've asked you this before, but how come you know so much Spanish?

Oh - would you prefer me to post at your old user page instead?

I "only" lóve Spain very much.
I'll be writing about it this winter.
Even my fear for death would deminish, if I would know to be burried in Spanish soil. I appear to love desolated places like dry and hot deserts. But I dó know I am romanticising it, because I can't survive without the luxury (showers, etc) of the 20th century.

One of the reasons I love Spain (although I hardly come there) is the beautiful language. It is like staccato; a bit harsh, which is very inspiring and erotic to me.

Holland has a strong link with Spain, although not publicly.

I cannot speak four words of Spain.
Because of lack of sleep, I'll never learn. No energy.

But I copied a lot of Spanish music (mainly 15th century;courtmusic), and that includes also a lot of music textbooks, in which there is always a translation in English aswell.
A nice way of quoting in a beautiful language.

If you want to know a name of a highly professional Spanish/Catalan music group for ancient music (mainly Spanish), it is

HESPERION XX (ALIA VOX) with Jordi Savall at Viola da Gamba and Montserrat Figueras as soprano. "La Capella Reial de Catalunya.

Greatings, Alfreo

"Oh - would you prefer me to post at your old user page instead?".

No, my OLD user page is history. Passed. Only a stepping stone for passers by to find me here in my new home.

But it might calm my soul, if you delete this NEW space from your friends-list for a while, and decide for yourself when to put it on again.(I won't know then).
This way I can adjust to the reality that written Journals also make an immediate jump into someone elses space.

Yes, I'm neurotic.
Will I ever be able to calm myself?
I'm on the road to find out; also by writing here in my Journal.
