1 year
Posted Aug 20, 2003
So it's aug. 20th one year since mum had a car accident that changed our lives. A lot has happened in that year. It is amazing how far she has come since she was in the coma, the doctors preparing us for the worst. She has gained back most of her memory up to the last 7 or 8 years. All the bones haved healed, physio is going well and her spirits are up. It's just drepressing thinking how much she has lost and will never get back. My wife and I have moved back to our home town. I only hope this next year will be an improvement from the last.

I've got the best job in the world
Posted Aug 16, 2003
So I own my own coffee shop and I get to meet lots of interesting people. About three months ago I had a guy come in with a guitar over his shoulder. He asked me if it was ok if he could sit outside, enjoy his coffee and play a bit. Of course it was ( he turned out to be quite good ). I later asked him why he asked and it turns out that lots of other restaurants and coffee shops would not let him play. So now he and a friend come at least once a week and jam outside while they enjoy their drinks. He is also going to do a little jingle for me to use on my radio comercials. I get to meet the most interesting people.
