Hi ya,
Just thought I should start a thread where we can discuss things and update each other as to what we have done
I should think we'll be in charge for a few months now, spook will be pretty bogged down with Uni work
Anyway, I've updated the new members, I think I got all of them, and have placed them all in the Gazpacho Regiment as privates
I see you've made a start on the GuideML of the page and I know you like to make things look good so I can't wait to see the final product
I was wondering though if you could put a link to the rules of continuity in there somewhere? The official rules the Terranic Army uses are here A496091 . They would be very useful and it would cover our backs if any disputes flared up in battle
The main change I want to make, and in fact the only really, is to reduce the army to just one Regiment for now. The number of active members really doesn't justify having anymore than one Regiment and having two kind of divides the troops when they should all be mingling.
Being as Gazpacho is the original and oldest surviving Regiment I have chosen to keep that one and transfer all troops over to that, if you agree with that change
Rimmer has been kicking about lately too so it's leader is partially active
Anyway, what do you think and do you have any ideas or suggestions?

Ah yes, good idea.
Last things first: The Terranic Army used to stage fights among itself, but that trend has been leaving... it should adapt to fighting other groups. There are more armies on H2G2, so that should be able to work.
I have my own continuity page, I don't know if you've seen it, but I like it a bit more than that one. And it looks nice: A1937702 I don't know if its complete, though.
I can't do any major spiffing until the weekend, but that's not too far away.
You wanna rankify people? I don't think my old rank was high enough to justify doing that.
Sure, Gazpacho's fine... I'm sure Werekitty and what's his name would come back if the TA woke up, but sure.
I can do a little more today, later.
By the way... On the topic of armies: U687703 . With the SC, go claim your general of the army badge, it's really cool. ( A2538830 )

Hey Wonko,
First of all, I love the Continuity Rules They cover all aspects I think need covering before it gets too confusing
Secondly, I love the Generals Badge, glad you are continuing with the Shadow Council, I kind of lost inspiration after I created it which was a shame. So good work there
Werekitty is back now, you may or may not be aware, but she is still a little pressed for time. So I have decided that a single Regiment would be a better idea all round, unless you have any other ideas.
I was also thinking that instead of a table showing the troops and the ranks, perhaps you could put a drop down box or something like that in there. It'll make the page look smarter and easier to navigate rather than having to scroll past that massive list of names.
What do you think?

sure, the table is a bit...big.
I need you to assign ranks, though, before I do that. You've got seniority.

Ah a thread where both of you two are in it. Good as I need to contact you both.
As of today I have reclaimed the position of commander of the Terranic Army page (A814097), with all the rights and privaleges there to.
I would welcome your services gentlemen, but of course the decision is completely yours.
Regards,
Lord Admiral Field-Marshall Ignatious Tiberius Augustus Terran
