it sounds like some fungal infection that you get on your toes, which isn't entirely pleasant. but i like it. tis quirky. suggests you might have seen the world and caught this weird foot thing and now as a sort of symbolic tribute to the pain you went through it's a war wound medallion thing in the form of your name.

That's a nice thought.
It actually stems from a meal that my auntie used to make. I used to adore it when I was little. Didn't see her often but when I did she'd cook pigs trotters and wrap them in bacon as a special treat. Just before joining hootoo I'd been trying to cook it for myself and voila! Footbacon was born.

pig trotters wrapped in bacon huh? well ive not heard of that one. i've had to dissect a trotter in school before, the most traumatic bit was the big fat black hairs on it. the dissection bit was fine, who needs rubber gloves?
i reckon it could be quite tasty.

It is, absolutely delish!
We didn't dissect anything at school. Well, there was a goat but that wasn't on the curriculum.

hmm my dad says that when he was at school they did the eye and the bit in the middle is a bit like mint sauce to look at, might go with the pig's trotter come to think of it, no, hang on thats lamb...
