Hi Florida Sailor
I'm your Sub-editor for The First Commercial Aeroplane Flight. The new version is here A87823380 - please subscribe!
I have read through and made a few minor tweaks. I also added some more links. Good Entry
One thing that didn't quite read clearly to me is in the paragraph beginning "The plane flew at about 6 feet " - the paragraph starts with "The plane", but then says "They were soon airborne again" - "They" is "The pilot and passenger", is that right?
I also would like to check: "The contract with the city was for a three month period, expiring on 31 March, 1914. The service continued for another five weeks - is that 5 weeks after 31 March?
Thank you

Yes, the plane, pilot and passenger tend to all fly at the same altitude, otherwise things get a bit awkward My intention was to foreshadow the passenger assisting the pilot in repairing the aircraft mid-flight.

Yes, during the contract period they were subsidized by the city, apparently profits were enough for them to continue without support for this period of time after 31 March.
Everything looks good, but I will do a few more reads.
Thanks

Thanks FS
I tweaked those two bits, and I'm happy with this now.

Sorry to be so long replying.
The only change is;
>He later joined Benoist and began...
to
>He had joined Benoist and began...
As he had obviously joined the new company before flying for them.
If you agree lets press the button
Thanks again
