I've only just started and a few sentences confuse me, can you clarify them (I might just be a bit thick, mind <winkeye):

'They are expected to perform the actual action of sleep during the night and are therefore the most innocent but also the most boring.'

and this one:

'Very few teens reach majority without hearing the phrase 'It's a school night' when asking to say out until late night.'

Is 'majority' and American term? I've not heard it used that way before.

'It is an over simplification the place this metamorphosis at a given number of years' - should this be 'that places'?

This is a sentence I chose to retain from the original, although I dispel it as a myth in the next line.

It might be better to add 'often thought to be' after 'therefore' we might also change the 'but' to 'and'

and this one:

'Very few teens reach majority without hearing the phrase 'It's a school night' when asking to say out until late night.'

Is 'majority' and American term? I've not heard it used that way before.

Maybe it is a US term, I never thought about it not being common usage. It is the age when you are legally considered to be an adult. The age varies by event; sex, driving, drinking, entering into contracts, and of course varies from state to state When you reach 'majority' you cease being a 'minor'. It might be related to the major and minor leagues in baseball Please fell free to substitute a more commonly understood word.

It is probably best to start slowly, but with the time difference it is unlikely we will get to exchange more than a single message a day, if that. I always download your comments and work off-line, so a dozen or so questions can easily be addressed in a single message

Changed 'majority' to 'adulthood'.

Not much else needed doing to the text, just the occasional comma.

I have no idea what happened with those two, they were both the wrong number, but worked when I previewed it but had an extra digit on each one afterwards
