PS An idea for an Entry I've played with for a number of years on and off is an easy layman's guide to the difference between accuracy and precision, but (so far) nothing has come of it.

As usual, the thing I have found to quibble with are my own words
The first sentence in 'Tolerance and Interchangeable Parts'

Would be better as;
Interchangeable parts were first widely used by Samuel Colt...
I think I started with one thought and then changed it to another
