SUNNYDALE GUIDE
Aprox 10 blocs north-east of the bronze were a number of abandoned warehouses, where an attractive brick factory occupied most of the city block. disussions with the city fathers dd go underway to transform the factory into a spaghetti restaurant or possibly a wax museum, but this didn't come to pass because a fire burnt the factory to the ground.
also located in that part of town were two very 'colorful' establishments, the rough & tumble fish tank & willi's alibi room. theres was the sunset club, which required a password to enter. the word was 'lestat'!
A 10 block walk east led to the, sunnydale armory. wich was under command of colonel newsome, the armorx was home to the 33rd(the legendary "skull & crossbones" unit) the armory offered a tour of its weopons museum on saturdays from 1-3pm
rounding the perimeter of thearmory & heading back west, you would come across sunnydale hospital.
past the police station stood the sunnydale mall, wih a multiplex cinema, shops & a lavish food court.
past the mall & continuing past the community car park, stood more shops, the magic box(formally known as 'dragons cove magic shop', costume shop 'party town'.
one of sunnydales loveliest residential areas was revello drive
continuing on there was weatherly park, for young ppl & senior citizens alike. this large park was suitable for biking, hiking & picnicking
a few blocks farther north was the local playground. continuing approx another mile was "the sunnydale natural history museum.
also in sunnydale was the sunnydale zoo,a favorite field-day trip destination. there was also sunnydale beach, sunnydale docks.
if you took 1-17 in the opposite direction, u would of found yourself at the icerink.
other locations included, the cemetery, the funeral home, delta zeta kappa fraternity house & sunnydale tech park.

SUNNYDALE HOW IT USE TO BE(now just a big hole of devastation)
it had a beautiful spanish-style campus of the sunnydale high school, it features an attractive quad, where the annual may queen is announced, & an olympic sized swimming pool, complete wih an exquisite underground. sunnydale high is home of the razor backs. in 1977, the cheerleading squad won the tri-county championship. there is a fully computerized library, & there also members of the 'lets get together' foreign-exchange-student program.
there were 43 churches in sunnydale..but some claimed there were 44. ghost stories about a sunken church across from the school persisted, despite the fact that no such structure was ever located
the bronze was the local hangout for high school students & younger adults. the bronze was dark,crowded,noisy..& fun!live bands played almost every night, & the club also hosted the annual may queen dance, a spooky celebration of halloween, the world culture fiesta, & other exciting get togethers.
come back soon for more sunnydale local history..
