In Buxton, you really must get to Scriveners bookshop. It's one of theose old world style second had bookshops with shelves full of books everywhere across the whole of the 5 floors. A self service honesty coffee and tea shop are in there as is a book bindery. The chap who runs the shop is also a book binder and has his workshop on the ground floor of the shop where he can be watched and also runs courses on book binding!

I did think you'd like it. I was reminded last night that they are in the process of setting up a victorian museum in a small room in the basement (even it's still piled high with books in that room).
