h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Great name, great intro. Welcome to site. Just back from hols so having a little lurk and a catch up. Well it beats battling the laundry dump that is the kitchen. There are quite a few flower power peeps on site. Hypatia has a wonderful garden and I have been known to throw the odd bouquet. 'Check out the post please do and the redoubtable AWW too.... some very fine writers around and egos and opinions abound.'
Great fun though and have made some good friends in a very short time.
Whoops laundry calls...then perhaps a little holiday entry...MMmmm maybe another day off is a good idea. keep writing and see you around

I've just come back from a week in the country myself. I'd be much more relaxed, only I got back to find I've been offered a job interview and am having a devil of a time stopping myself from chewing my fingernails to the bone. Which does not a good impression make. I tend to babble under stress, so for the next few days I'm sure my contributions to H2G2 will be copious and pointless.

I'm off now to glare at the contents of my wardrobe, all of which are espressly designed for lolling about and occassional light ironing in, rather than wowing future employers. Glumness creeps upon me.
