Well I did miss your contributions here and the other place! Did you go anywhere for your hols? I think I might take H away for a long week-end to the Lakes, Diane has just been and come back with news of places to stay in Bowness, near H's favourite spot! I also fancy a quick hop accross La Manche, to have a break and top up the Champagne stocks! I don't drink it right now, but H can quite happily polish off a bottle herself, and when one of her friends M comes round they can easily knock off two bottles! The trip would give me a chance to brush up on my appaling French! Mind you I surprised Heather last time we were over, by telling the receptionist in French that the shower curtain had fallen down in the bathroom! It had a more unsteadying affect on her then the Champoo! Neither H or M have hardly an ounce of excess weight quite sickening eh! I see you've added to a thread with a lot of misinformation about nutrition! Rather you then me! Good luck on that one! Quite brave eh, no wonder you have SAS in your handle!
See you soon Sas

Hi Ian
I went to a very quiet village in Brittany to rest my weary feet. Very old and very pretty.
I received my test results yesterday and am pleased to say that they were negative. Big relief all round for me and my family.

Hi Ian.
Bad news must follow good unfortunately.
Mum lost her fight with cancer early Saturday morning and left us. She was only 52.

Sas, I am so sorry to hear about your mother , you are in my thoughts and i send you my too. 52 is so young it seems so wrong that ones life can be taken away at such an age. Diane B xxx
