Hello pamela,
I've come to see you via Golden Girl. I am a 77 year old widow, living in a small bungalow in South Yorkshire. I live alone with my black and white cat. (I sound like POstman Pat!)
My husband died six years ago next week, and I do miss him. I have two sons, one living locally and the other in Italy. I've just been to see him. My local son has two boys who are still at school. I was late having my children after many miscarriages, so I feel blessed.
That's just an introduction. I hope to hear from you.
I should have called myself Silver, as I have white hair, and if there was a white rose, I would post it here.

Good to hear from you .
I hope you are finding your way around o.k. A nice thing about these boards is you can write a bit more personally than on the TV. boards, where you have to stick to discussing programmes , and they are not so open here. It is worth remembering though that anyone can read them. but I've always found everyone to be friendly.
I don't think there is a white rose , but there is a red one
