I would not worry to much about the trace report, customer service just look at the last CSR they spoke to, they don't take in to account that you could of been the one who gave the caller the CS number, and that the CSR they spoke to before you could of given them the wrong number. I can't see you making silly mistakes like that, you are to good at your job.....even though you do hate it.
