Not online today for the excitement, as visiting relatives all day.

Using big sis's laptop for 5 mins to type this!

Aaaaarrrgggghhh. Just need to vent some frustration.

Why is is, that even though we don't attack other people's diets, we are constantly critised to defending our own. Drives me mad!

As for the Doc, wouldn't it be nice if he gave a few reasons for his dislike of LC? If my doc refused to communicate with me, I'd be more than a little disappointed with the medical profession. Is this why you guys are always complaining about the NHS - are they all like this?

Please permit me to give you a slap around the chops with Ian's wet haddock-------THWACK!!!!

There. How does that feel? Don't let the buggers suck you in. I'm ignoring them from now on.

Did I imagine seeing a post from the "Doc" entitled "Mary Bellamy: You are an irrelevance"? My company network went down and by the time I got home, it had gone. Did the mods really allow that? Yikes!

Yes it said something along the lines of -

"Mary, please understand that you are an irrelevance. Thank you"

I think it was in response to the thrashing that Mary gave him the other board. I've had three notices from the Beeb saying that the messages I had replied to had been deleted. Funnily enough, they were all messages from the Doc. I don't think he's shown himself in a very good light at all!

Ah well, lets hope he finds the Dr Clark diet credible... at least then I can have a satisfying little giggle to myself.

Cheers Nige

I've just posted an apology to Diane B on the GH board for the fracas spilling over. I gave Mr Rumbold a good thrashing into the bargain. He hates being called Mr, but I explained that he never answered the question of his title, so as far as we were concerned, he was just plain Mr. Aren't I catty?

Yesterday, I changed my account details so any "Dear John" e-mails from the Beeb would go to my work addy. And here I am posting from home! I think all of my posts are getting scrutinised by mods, which is why it is taking so long for them to appear.

Yes, Diane didn't seem too impressed did she? I hope she'll forgive us all (she knows only too well how these thing irritate us - poor girl!)

I think ignoring the whole thing is a good idea. Maybe he'll get bored after a while?

Let's just hope I can keep a sock in it until then.

Hi you lot of course you get forgiven!!!! I have posted another message to try and help Nige calm down, but i cant find any of the messages now i think they have all been removed from the boards, although i have not received a message confriming this via e mail yet.

I actually do think he is a doc, call me naive, but my experience from docs are they do seem to blow their own trumpet.

Nige, chill dont let anybody wind you up or we will all have to give you some suggestions for reducing your blood pressure!!!!

Had to laugh though as your reply Nige, said N & F board not H & N so i said was you thinking of Nige and Friends he he he he

Now this haddock that Ian was on about has given me an idea for dinner, byut if its already been slapped on your face Nige i really dont think i fancy it now, with all the spitting thats been going it, bet its wet through!!!! smiley - smiley

Hello, Diane. I'm pleased to see that CHRIS, the host has pulled the entire thread. I'm feeling nice and calm.

I take these boards seriously, and people like hydrate and DJblod* coming over and winding everyone up (me included) was not being helpful for those wishing to learn.

As I stated somewhere on Nutrition & Fitness, I'm like a dog with a juicy bone. When john rumbold first arrived, it was clear that he knew his stuff. Things went downhill when the subject of "you-know-who's" diet came up. Once I got my proverbial teeth into his leg and wouldn't let go, things really went downhill.

Nige & Friends? Good one!

I'm hanging on to Ian's wet haddock, just in case!

See ya. Nige xXx

Hey, Diane! In all the excitement, I completely forgot to ask how you were. Are you out of the body sock? Have your bruises gone? Has the op' had the desired effect?
