Another exciting day at Crawley, so no H & N postings again.

Well I'll go you posted then! Can you hear me mother!
A quiet day on the board, a few easy to answer questions which have already had replies.
John has put a post up answering your question, er not!
Only Mary and I have replied!
Ann has sent a message to me saying I was wrong, but that her previous message was too strong. I did smart a bit after it, but as you know I appreciate her posts, so I'm not going to rock the boat.
Well that's it really, still struggling to understand the lean muscle bit, as I read somewhere when skimming that it take quite a few calories to maintain each lb of fat. Unfortunately I wasn't paying attention at the time, so I didn't make a note of where it was to reinvestigate its authenticity.
I see Tiny has put a reply up which is nothing to do with the H and N side, and am hoping she doesn't get shouted at.
There's a post about shouldn't we all be enjoying life etc, who can argue with that one!
Nothing too daunting or stimulating so sofar you haven't missed anything!
Your apprentice.

I read that first sentence several times!
I've read that fat cells use far fewer calories per day than LBM, but I can't remember the figure or where I saw it. I need to take another gander at Leah Wynne and her forum.

Glad to see you and he had fruitfull converstaion, I ended getting myself into a dificult position in the board as I both respect John and Ann, walked in to it somehow!
Sorry the first sentence is a family joke, which predated that catch phrase being used in a poor sitcom many years ago.

That's what happens sometimes when you try to pour oil on troubled waters - some bugger goes and sets it alight!
It's always interesting when someone "new" arrives (mind you, john had over 700 posts to his name even then). There's always friction at first. It all adds to the, ah, frisson.
Now there appears to be a mark rumbold, a hydrate de carbone and a DJblod*. DJblod? Dr J rumBLOD? Nah!

I wonder which board John had been posting on before then?

It's pathetic really!

I don't think posts on other boards count on this one, but I've never posted anywhere else so I don't know for sure.

Check out page 4 on the General Health message board un "Atkins diet". It make interesting reading. It seems Dr Rumbold. (He has admitted to being a doctor on that board) has made quite a few comments on this subject before.

And I see that's where "hydrate de carbone" was born!
