I have read whats been going on with regards to the girl whom has the eating disorder, on the H and N site. I am sorry it seems to be you that ended up on the firing squad there. It sometimes seems no matter what you or others may say you can't win. I also noticed that you tried to put Mary in her shoes by explaining that this girl has an Ed in the first place. I have responded to her on the ED site with regards to this and tried to explain to her it is very difficult forothers to really understand how they feel with regadrs to food, fat etc. The odd 20 cals here and there to you and i are nothing but to them it is a matter of wether they would consider it a binge or not, and should they then go and make themselves sick or not. Its a very sad life to lead and i should know i have led it. I still have some degree of problems now and thats why i can relate to them so much although i try very hard to help them as best as i can. All i am really trying to say is i think in your own way you did try your best, and don't feel in any way that you could have said anything different, and it would have changed how this girl was feeling. I am sure she wont send a message on the H and N site angain and personally i would rather she didn't as it could be taken as a laugh rather than someone being very serious. Oh such as life, why the hell couldn't we all be born slim!!!! Anyway just to let you know i was thinking of you to xx Diane xxx

I don't take anything personally on the message boards. I just try to give the best advice I can, bearing in mind that I have no idea what's going through the other person's mind.

I do hope LL doesn't end up being anorexic/bulimic - these conditions are life-threatening.

Hi Nige very busy with work today, last day i go in tomorrow!!!! At least i got to my goal, well within 2lb anyway. Unfortunately. LL is anorexic and bulimic, so therefore anything she could consume would be better than nothing. I wish too they wouldn't venture over to the other board but i think it is tempation. The rules are more realed on th H and N site, whereby on the ED site the meantion of weights Bmis etc etc is banned due to triggering reasons. They can get away with far more on the H and N site. What really gets me is they can write a message saying they are going to take their lives and we sit and read them and try to dupport and understand it can be quite heart breaking really. We lost a girl earlier this year.. Anyway must dash have loads to weigh Diane x
