Nige, I can't believe you one of my mentors is in to this. I knew no good would come of going on another chat board. I'll never be able to post you straight in the eye again. Ian

Ha! More surprises, eh?
I was "at it" last night (out singing, that is). I've got my own CG+G player at home with 2,000+ songs on CD+G (CD + graphics). Wa-hey!
That's my only real vice (apart from doing Leslie Philips impressions when a winsome young damsel in distress posts on the message board).

Sadly as you are about to find out, I have many vices! When you see the poetry, you'll have much ammunition for revenge on my taking the rip about karaoke. Ian P.S. Now the moment of truth, can I get back to the other board! Ian

I'm never sure whether its working or not! I can't look at any message right now, so I expect it isn't! I thought I'd try a risky venture over here again! Daring eh!
I can see that the site gives a huge amount of extra features which has enabled you to share you links, but because of these extra features and sophistication, I don't find it as user friendly!
I also want to keep going to the subject of beer! I know it's not one of your vices, but last night we completed doing what we call a student beer at the beer circle (actually called the Beer Support Group). We are trying to do a beer wich is palatable, and extremely cheap! I created a recipe a few weeks back, which we brewed last week and racked off this week! The beer will cost around 70p a gallon! We're also using equipment to brew, that will costs around £2. So pretty cheap stuff! Not as good as our usual brews, but a lot of the ingredients are cake baking stuff from Sainsbury's.
The other advantage with this board is you can stray off Health and Nutrition of course! I haven't there's alot of selinium in the above brew!
Oh well flipping back now my program has fifnshed compiling!

How about developing low-carb beer - or is that not possible?

I don't know enough about the chemistry to do it yet! It also may not be possible with traditional ingredients and brewing methods! However, I've seen enough posts about soft drinks and the need for ones without aspartame, and I beleive I can create a ginger beer using sucralose. So in the next couple of months I'll try this out. It will be very midly alcoholic, probably a half percent by volume! I'm begining to like this place! I've updated my personal space, so I'm no longer a number but a man! I've added some details about me, so that should stop any further posts coming my way! Is there a chat facility here?

Actually Nige, I need a bit of tech info! I notice Flip and Ruth are here, but as they haven't set up their home page, I haven't worked out how to send them a message! Do you know? Ian

Yeah so do I! DG Ginger beer available from supermarkets is very good for a commercial one! Unfortunately its loaded with sugar! So I'd better get my finger out! Ian

You can't leave them a message on their page until they've written an introduction. Leave a message for them here - they're bound to see it eventually. Nag them into creating an introduction!

I wonder if our little record breaking post had anything to do with the other board failure! He he, would be funny if they've had to resize the indices. Ian
