... although, given that I really hate rain I'd be most likely chasing away from them.
Glad to see there's someone else from the centre of the known Universe elevating the cultural tone around here...
I Love Rain :o)

Hiya
I love rain, don`t like it when it`s windy much though..but if i was in America watching a tornado form & understanding it`s power & how to predict them & i would like to learn about mother nature & her PMS....i wouldn`t say im the cleverest person i know but i do know what i want,i just lack the means to get it at the moment
I have just missed out on a great job coz im too bloomin old
I thought life was supposed to start at 40,im not quite ready for scrap yet LOL BFN spk soon
I Love Rain :o)

Weirdo! It's cold and wet and
but yes, just seeing a tornado would be awesome. America's a great place to go for extreme nature: a while ago I had the trip of a lifetime going to Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon.
Sorry to hear about the job, the fools! the mad fools! I thought the only job exclusively reserved for the young was charging at machine gun nests, mainly on the grounds that us oldies aren't that stupid.
Life does start at 40. Unfortunately, it's what it starts that's the problem.

I know im slightly weird, but who wants to be normal LOL thats boring isnt it
Oh you are lucky going to the Grand Canyon,i would love to go there but the only place i ever been abroad was Lloret De Mar & well i spent all my time sunning myself & cooking meals, washing etc...went camping for a fortnite
Would love to see the seven wonders.
That job i wanted was taking photos for the R.A.F...but some ov it was aerial work & you had to pass airman test & i think thats where the age came in or maybe it was coz im female ? ah well back to the drawing board!!
I don`t wanna sell beans etc for a living LOL

Indeed.
The Grand Canyon was fantastic: a more relaxing version of the Total Perspective Vortex. After stopping at Bryce Canyon on the way, I had prepared myself for a disappointment, but it was simply awesome: pictures and descriptions never do it justice.
The seven wonders would be good: I was in Greece back in 87, rowing on the replica trireme that they built, so I got to spend a week afterwards looking round Athens, taking in the Acropolis, the Agora and the various museums. They have quite a spectacular light show on the Parthenon at night, so I spent one evening on a hill opposite getting some pictures.
The RAF aircrew medical is pretty tough: I failed it at 19 for being too tall: flying would have been OK, but ejecting would have taken my legs off at the knee. Later, when I got to sit in a Meteor cockpit I could see what they meant.... I think they let women fly these days, but the ways of the Medical profession are inscrutable.
Never mind, I'm sure you'll find a better way to make a living than selling beans, and if Tony doesn't find his weapons of mass destruction, you can say with a clear conscience that it's not your fault.

Know what you mean about the jobs: all the £1,000,000 pwk for a half-day's thumb-twiddling gigs seem to have been taken already...

Certain time-saving measures suggest themselves, but they're probably unhygienic
Flexitime is wonderful
