Life rocks, Mystrunner! And God rocks even more because he made life and only put a little bit of his 'rocks' into it! I just had a wonderful evening of bonding with CaliforniaGirl sitting under the stars and watching the moon rise while we talked about what's been going on in our lives and with God and sang praise songs for a while.
On the dealing with Spike's death front I'm still in full denial though. We had a waiter at a "Claim Jumper's" near Los Angeles that reminded me of Spike very much. Same physical proportions: tall, long-limbed. Even kind of had the hair going. It was an unexpected encounter. Revived feelings of loss. {sigh}
