ok.....sooooooooo.....I've read all the various links about how to do a gude entry in HTML.....I've been told how, by a couple of people......now what I need is instructions on how to read the instructions!!!!! Campaign for Clear English not been by this way recently eh?

Ok dont panic what ecactly do you want to do in that guide entry. As i said earlier you click on to where it says guide entry at the bottom of your page and then just put in what ever you want.
Your not realy makeing it clear as to what you want. take a look at my guide entrys see if it helps.

Oh dear....didn't mean to sound 'snotty'.....if I did....I want to write a guide entry....a little about myself y'know.....which is fine if I do it just in plain text mode..I've grasped that much......but being the eternal show off and exhibitionist....I wanna put in some pictures and stuff...only, when I tried before, following the rules explained as I understood them.....nothing happened. As far as the pics go anyway, did what I thought was told to, but no pics showed up in my guide entry....used one's from h2g2 library! Sorry if I'm being a pest....but I'm completely crap when it comes to all things technical....except changing plugs.....I can do that

right then. Tell you what i can do but its up to you if you trust me enough to do this give me your email addy i will then email you back you can give me your details what you want with your log in name and pass word ad i will do what you want for you. its the easiest way i think. do you want it on your front page like mine with my pics when you click on to my name cos its not a guide entry its your intro

Happy to give you my email....long as it's not on 'public view' ofcourse......thing is......I've not quite sorted out what I want to 'write' in my intro thingymawotsit...but could get it together for next day or so.....but I gather you're offline for a while......is no big rush.....could wait til your return? well over the next week plan what you want write it all down,look in the pic libary what you would like then when i get back i will sort it for you.

........thankyou soooooooo much for your patience.....I'll jot a few ideas down over the next few days and try and construct something out of then for your return....but knowing me....and given present circumstances....could possibly spill over til long after your return...like I say....no rush. Can pics other than are in the 'library' be used by the way?

You can only use pics from pic libary unless you own some that you can use them.

Like i say its ok if your still thinking of some ideas after im back im patient

I do intend haveing a good time ive a m8 comming to stay so we should have a great time lots of drinking to do so i think a permanant for next week
