Who is watching it? I am, but I wish I weren't.

It's not looking good so far, it's fairly awful.

I'm sort of watching. I have one ear on that and one eye on Ireland v Poland. I'm also trying to clean the bathroom. As a result I can't tell how either game is going and the bathroom is taking a lot longer than I intended.

Well, it's just gone somewhat better for the German team. How is Ireland doing?

It was 0-0 at half-time. Poland seeming a bit better towards the end...

I preferred to listen to the Grimsby Town FA Cup replay on the radio. They were away at Scunthorpe and they won 2-1. My brother was there!I'll no doubt hear all about it on Sunday at Mum's

Germany won, too, but it wasn't a good match imo. Too many changes in the team, too. I knew all the players by name during the last world championship, and last night there were very few familiar names.
