I've just had a look at that thread and now I've forgotten what I meant to say.

OP I so wish I wasn't so sensible at times. But I usually am. So I won't ask on Ask what you think the review forums here are for. Are they exclusive? Should only those comment who have intimate knowledge of the subject? I think not. I understood that everybody is welcome to comment as long as they are nice. Am I wrong?

so, unless i have lost my mind, it did not start out being about why people who do not want criticism submit something to a review forum.

and what its like to have someone come in, first posting of the review,
to say that something you did wrote grated on them...

i see around here on h2g2 how most folks use the word 'grated'
it means they have been offended, annoyed, that the thing hurts

you could have said the reiteration just didnt sit right with you
but what do you know, youre not too experienced with poetry stuff
you could have been gentler

others know what i mean

Well, if you are quoting me, do it at least correctly. I said it grated a bit. You know what a bit is, don't you?

Oh come on, to say something grates a bit is no big deal.

I find people who post without capitals grating on my eyes but it's not that big a deal that I won't try to read what they've written.

I really do think you're stirring a virtual pot here, yanking a chain or taking the pi$$.

You are fully aware that English is not Bel's first language but surprisingly that isn't an issue in this case because the word she chose wasn't harsh. She said what she said in a very polite way and in a nicer way than many would have said it. It 'grates a bit' on Bel, many others have said it doesn't grate on them. What's the problem?

with attitude or words

or remarks made like "many think this"
as evidence of what trouble effers causes here
in a CASE building to get her banned

i saw it happen at least twice before

i am NOT fully aware that english is not Bel's first language

to realise that we do not all know everything about all a youse guys

Nobody built a case against anybody.

And I think it is a misconstruction to say that others will get a person banned. There isn't anything at all YOU could do to get somebody banned bar yourself. Or that I could do or any of my friends. Nobody ever was or will be banned because others would like to see it. People have been banned because of THEIR OWN behaviour. They've broken the rules again and again and again and again. Then they got banned.
To imply that my journal and anybody in here are out to get somebody banned is WRONG! There is no CASE against anybody on site. people abide by the house rules, or they don't. It's up to them, not to anybody else.

Effers is more than capable of making her own case - as she did in the review thread, rather rudely in my opinion. Should that reflect on Bel? I don't think so.

You are here for one reason and one reason only. To cause trouble. That's it in a nutshell.

I'm not one of 'youse guys' and very much on the outer arm of this new hootoo universe but some things never change and your feelings about Bel probably won't ever change but there's no need for you to create hostility where none exists.

look, i did go over to Bel's PS and see she mentions being german
and i also noticed her huge friends list
now, you dont know me
so i will tell you i am not an idiot
who goes around creating hostility against popular people
that is suicidal
and i do realise i walked into a thread where there were few people who would welcome my opinion
but that old litany of me trying to start trouble
i would laugh if i wasnt crying so hard
thats part of the CASE against me

where i notice something
and point it out
and voice my opinion about it

nevermind the something is bad

hurtful and destructive
what matters to alla youse
is that I brought it into the light
and darkness hates the light

unlike effers and lord wolfden and maybe some of those others
i am not losing it when you all gang up on me
(good example: anarchy thread)
the reason i am not losing it is because pretty early on
i realised how not worth it it is to react to attacks

so i pointed out what i see going on here in this thread
and now its just fighting so i probably dont have anything else constructive to say

I suspect you had nothing constructive to say from the start, Fluffy.

I don't believe I've ever been part of any gang that ever did gang up on anybody on site (or off site) so you must have me mistaken for someone else. Easy to do there are a lot of mice about at this time of year.

Nothing bad happened, nothing dark, nothing sinister. A poem was submitted for review. It was reviewed (by a few people) one of the reviews caused the author to 'go off on one'. It's happened plenty of times and it'll probably happen plenty more times.

Now as I recall there is a conspiracy theory thread somewhere about, perhaps you meant to make that last post there?

I think I mentioned that you are entitled to your opinion even if I said it elsewhere). I specifically mentioned here that to me it is important to get the whole picture, which I cannot get if people thought they had to say what they think I'd want to hear.

I do not see anybody ganging up on you here or 'building' a CASE against you.

None of us sought you out. You came here - whatever motif you had I do not know. I do not care, either. Everybody was polite. Nobody attacked you.

We heard you. So far, nobody has agreed with you. Do you really think just because you repeat it people will agree?

I do not attend any anarchy thread. I unsubscribe from lots and lots of threads. Normally, I would have unsubscribed immediately after your first post to avoid conflict, but this happens to be MY journal.
