h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I remember the time when this was a frequent message. You had to actively watch the <./>info</.> page to see if somebody replied, or there were any new posts at all. I hope this lag will be fixed soon. I've replied to seven or eight journals this mornings but it doesn't show yet.

BUT this isn't meant as criticism. It's absolutely great what Pastey and Co managed to set up.

We're home again, and it looks and feels like home.

I'll second that Bel, I'm so pleased it's still all here this morning. I had a feeling that it might all have been a dream.

Oooh, and can I just tell you that Dmitri prepared a new for tomorrow? Yes, folks, there will be a again it this wonderful home.

Great news.

Having spent a while at noesis I miss the like button. I liked the like button. If we had a like button I could like the posts you make that I like.

Can't you just say you liked them?

I don't know why I didn't think of that.

Oh, it's so good that the post counter works again.

The thing I like about the "like" button is instead of saying "what s/he said" or repeating the same thing in a different way, it seems to me to disrupt the flow a little less.

What I really will miss (besides the edit function, for now) is the "quote" block.

Yeah. I know - let's make Mala make a 'like' smiley.

There you go, h2g2 had a like smiley before Facebook even existed.

Hmm, posts aren't turning black when read in the "My Conversations" box.

Put it in a bug report.

"My Conversations" is currently essentially unusable.

Well, not quite unusable. It just takes some perseverance.
