Actually, I got this story slightly wrong - it was funnier than that. The naturists were using make shify rafts (tyres etc) to get from the park to the city centre, and then catching a back . The rest of the story is as I described

I have to admit that I don't remember Berlin at all, it's been thirty years since I went there. I know there's a river flowing through the town somwewhere, but that's it. What's the park called, do you remember it? The only one that I know by name would be the Grunewald, a very popular place.
