I just need some advice on pictures
also, while surfing other peoples homes i noticed many cool "knick nacks" like cool fonts and pics with links and such, are these people most likely GuideML?
I have never used it, im used to html but this is sorta weird if ya know what i mean

You should find all you need at Writing-GuideML If you need any inspiration, pop on over to <./>Askh2g2</.>, click on one of the conversations and then start clicking on some researchers name

How do you get a picture to contain a link? And how do you get badges?

Unfortunately you can't put your own pictures directly onto your page, but you can link to them, using < LINK HREF="http://www.whereveryourphotosare . com">HERE< /LINK> without the spaces of course

Do you mean the type of badge I've got on my space on the right-hand side? They are the badges of two of the volunteer groups onsite, the ACEs and the Testers. The <./>ACES</.> group aren't recruiting at the moment and really need folk with some experience of the site. The other volunteer badges you may see are the <./>GURUS</.> and the <./>SUB-EDITORS</.> and the <./>SCOUTS</.> again, a little more experience on site would probably help.

The other badges I've got on my space are badges for various clubs or societies I belong to hear on h2g2. If you click on one, it should take you to the home page for that particular club where you could register & pop the badge on your space
