Not at all smiley - smiley those who don't share their lives with at least one animal are the smiley - weird ones!

Take a walk through my garden sometime when you have a minute, and let me know what you think, it's a new page.

How are things in Texas these days?

In England we're experiencing a heatwave at the moment, and most people are enjoying it, but if it carry's on, they'll soon start complaining. Normally, it's raining, snowing, overcast, sunny, hail-stoning, and that's just in one day! We like to talk about the weather in England because we get so much of it, it changes daily. I guess in your neck of the world, it's pretty much constantly hot, is that right?

Wow, that really is hot. It never gets like that here, 32-35C at the most. I spent some time in Egypt a while ago, I don't know what the temp was, but people were frying eggs on car bonnets, (hoods?). One bloke from the hotel, leaned his arm across the front of a Land Rover that had been standing in the sun all day, and his skin just stuck to the metal!...horrible.

Well we aren't as bad as Eygpt, but the humidity really makes up for the difference in degrees!!!!! I have a friend from Jordon and she would much rather have the higher dry heat there, than the hunidity here!!smiley - laugh

How do you cope? Is it just a case of staying in the shade and drinking lots? I suppose that's not always possible, is it?
