Hows Trivia been going ??? have you had a first place yet ???? ... there was a Pub Quiz book here in one of the offices .... I think I must have looked through it for 10 minutes without being able to answer a single question !!!!!!

Trivia’s been good…we’ve gotten second twice, but alas, never a first *sigh*.

But it doesn’t matter, if we were in it to win it we would’ve died of shame by now



I think tonight it might just be me Dad, the boy and my two brothers…of course my brothers are known for piking (flaking…not showing up…) so at the very least it will be me, Dad and the boy…so we’ll be ok…

…that is until the boy goes to work and me and dad are left to fend for ourselves

So the boy has to go to work before Trivia end !!!!! ..... that is so unfair ......

Almost time for me to head home ...... hopefully I will get a decent sleep today ....

Yup, he has to leave at 9 for a 9:30 start...and trivia doesn't usually finish until after 11...so we only get to play half a game together

I've made him promise me that, before he goes away, we have to have a week together. Just so we can do things like go to trivia for the whole night, and so we can sleep at the same time for a change...

Anyway, speaking of sleep, have a good one son

Well, trivia as always was grand . It was me, Dad, my boy, the brother I live with and my girl’s ex. The food was really nice (the chef has good weeks and bad weeks, this was a good one !) and we ended up coming third.

Equal third .

Everyone was saying “wow, if you’d gotten a few more right, you would’ve come second, and gotten the $25 food and drink voucher!”

All I could think was “Man, if we’d just gotten *one more* wrong, we could’ve gotten the Glen Campbell record!”

Oh well, it’s the nature of the game…such a fine line between the voucher and the record….and what does third get? Sweet all

But all in all everything was good. And now it’s hump day, so it’s even better !

How goes it on your side of the planet then, kid ?

Aye, I was on an all boy team...which was a little confronting...especially when they started asking "male" questions and I was the only one getting them right

I've been gone so long...went off to Canberra for a few days, got back Sunday

Anything exciting happen while I was gone

Nothing springs to mind ... been pretty quiet really ..

Hows the home thing .... big house or flat ... or still a bit of both ??

I watched 'Troy' last night .... quite enjoyed that , landlady was a bit miffed that Brad Pitt died and shaun bean survived

Canberra was a blast, got to catch up with my girl and Ivan , now I want to go back again

Staying at the Boy’s mostly these days…but we’re planning on making it a bit closer to even soon…hopefully…planning to go home tomorrow and find out what’s going on there then

Well would you believe that I only saw “Pirates of the Carribean” on Friday . I really liked it (from what I can remember…) And as for Johnny Depp….…. Johnny Depp?

The Boy is beautiful, as always. We just noticed last night that he bears a striking resemblance to Cat Stevens with his beard and hair at the moment...which can only be a good thing
