I'm curious - did you get your name from the Minack Theatre?

no no not minack theatre (where is that?)-- it is a long story how i got that name and i guess like most long stories -- apart from lord of rings that is -- is quite boring!

I assumed you'd named yourself after the Minack theatre (in Cornwall, UK) so was surprised that you didn't know where St Ives (also in Cornwall) was (mentioned in another thread). Perhaps Minack is a more common name than I'd realised If you're ever in Cornwall the Minack is worth going to - it's a fantastic place. They only have plays during the summer though as it's an open-air theatre.

I like food? Think I need to come up with a more convincing reason than that The name Cakewalker is from a favourite piece of music (by Debussy) which, erm, an old printer of mine used to play when you turned it on. Yes it's sad naming yourself after a peripheral, but Cakewalker is usefully unusual and I do like the food reference The bit in brackets is almost, but not quite completely, unrelated - it's a quote from a film (though I admit it's humour is a bit lost through being presented out of context...)

now all is clear! and i like food too!
there is something nice and comforting about and people who trip on food.
