My - that Pattern-Chaser guy does get a little silly, doesn't he? I've run foul of him on another conv., so I'm staying out of this one.

I thought the idea of Freedom From Faith meant that we're allowed to start from the assumption of Atheism, but apparently we're being silly/ undiplomatic/ whatever unless we start any discussion with a convincing proof of the no-existence of god. Strange how two software designers can disagree so. From his Personal Space views on subjectivity/objectivity, it's clear that he's read way too much Berkeley (http://www.directessays.com/viewpaper/20530.html). But I wouldn't dare suggest that in public.
