Have you changed your name and confused everybody (or just me)?

Ah, ignore that. It's just your name that's vanished. It reappeared at the top of the posting page.

I wasn't here.

But, but, but.....

I think the name thing is down to Barlesque (or possibly the move). As an Alabastard, I began to notice that other folks' names had been doubled and that I'd spawned a twin, too.

Figuring that one 'Rudest Elf' was sufficient (some would say more than enough), I decided to replace one of them with a favourite anagram of my real name.

A question: if I could see myself as others see me, how would my name appear in conversations?

I haven't seen the doubling up, but I'm using Brunel. I see you as Amiably corpulent, which is why I though - who is this newbie picking holes in all our entries and came to investigate. Saw your 'proper' name when I'd created the thread, it has This is the Message Centre for Rudest Elf - Amiably corpulent at the top. Then I noticed it on your PS, and elsewhere in your message centre and felt like a .

I'll have to slip into another skin and check it out.

How strange! Altering my preference to Brunel hasn't produced a change of skin.

Guess I'm stuck with Alabaster (not that I mind that). I'm sure that if I google h2g2, I'll be able to link to a page in a different skin.
