You've lost your Rudest Elf name on Brunel. I can't get the hang of these suffixes either. For a while I was Recumbentman - Recumbentman. Sheesh.

I am happily at home with Alabaster, which shows 'Rudest Elf - Amiably corpulent' (the suffix being the favourite anagram of my street name).

I added the suffix the moment I noticed the doubling up of 'Rudest Elf'.

How odd - though perhaps not surprising, what with all the bugs on the site - checking my Preferences, I found that my preferred skin was shown as Brunel! I have never used the Brunel skin, and fortunately changing the setting back to Alabaster made no difference.

So, what then is my name in Brunel, or am I just a number?

In Brunel you are Amiably Corpulent, and I am eat potatoes, daddy.

Still, I think you know how to fix that.

Fat lot of use that was. Now I'm in Alabaster and I have my name Recumbentman but no suffix. Chaos reigns.

If you've switched to Alabaster, you're heading in the right direction.

I don't understand why your suffix isn't showing - mine is. Perhaps you might try altering your preferences while you're in Alabaster?

at the top of this page, but once I've posted only 'Rudest Elf' appears.

Still, at least you've switched to the best skin.

I changed fairly quickly from Goo to Alabaster when I joined up first, but when Brunel came along I took it for its better linkage. Now Alabaster has the same linkage (replying-to-this-post etc) but I've grown fond of Brunel. All to change soon anyway.

Well that's interesting because now I'm in Alabaster country, 'fluffykerfuffle' is all I see, whereas . . .

. . . changing back to Brunel, I get your 'aaaaagghhhh [etc.]' tagline and no kerfuffle at all.
