Well, thank YOU for all the links. I don't use smilies because I expect people to get my jokes without cues, except perhaps subtle ones like, "It's a joke, stupid!"

Beyond that I really don't know that I'll be spending an awful lot of time here. Nothing personal, mind you. I just have other things to do, believe it or not. For example, I very nearly failed to log in today because I'd very nearly forgotten my password. Such close calls are probably not to be trifled with at my age.

So, just out of curiousity, what sort of an optical illusion do you purport to be? I rather fancy the kind that make me appear longer, thicker or taller. I'm told stripes can help or hinder those things depending on how they're presented.

If you find pondering these questions onerous, please feel at liberty to blow them off with my compliments.
