Hey Puker...
Good to see you around - I'm from Bombay ..... how much time have you spent here? If you're new, I'm almost jealous cause there is so much you still have to read and explore..
Try contributing to the collaborative entries, its as good a method as any of starting...and besides, when the entry does get published, its nice to see your name in print... 
I spent some time handing in an entry on Indian breakfast dishes for an article on 'Great International Breakfast Dishes'....very good fun....

I kinda liked the anonymity this forum offers for budding writers
I like writing too but get jingoistic and sentimental after 2 paragraphs , Hey could you give me the path for your entry , Wanna check out what you wrote , I wrote something about Great rivers , Called Gangaji Aagayi , Read that already ?
