Flurries of activity predicted.

It's been a melee of home improvement for the past couple of weeks. Five layers of wallpaper are gone, three fans have been replaced, a pendant fixture is to be replaced, a new fridge has been bought and installed. Wall washing, painting, and decorating are on the way.
Healthwise, it's been a bit of nothing. My prognosis is poor, simply because I may or may not be sick-sick and the possibility of a conversion disorder hasn't been addressed in over two years, now. Only upside is that I don't have to take meds, for the moment, so I have relative clarity of thought.
I've got plants out the wazoo. Baby tomatoes are everywhere and more madness is on its way.
Hope everyone is well. I'll be writing copy, so I'll be chained to the computer even more...

Alive and intact.

Just made 400 quiche for Thanksgiving, so I thought I'd post a Happy Turkey Day to those who celebrate it and those who don't. There's not much better than a holiday dedicated to food.
We're having a full house and it's the first Thanksgiving dinner I've done myself, so it should be piles of fun.

I'm alive!

But a zombie. It hasn't taken me a year to show up and look around again, so I feel that that is progress, indeed.
I'm going to make a concentrated effort on staying up with everything this time, so I'm going to leave the tab open in Opera. That should help.
Things since last update:
Still twitching like the crazy fool I am. Doctors like to test me but can't figure out what's the matter with me, so I'm currently professionally useless.
Got a X60s which I love. The Atheros card wouldn't work with Vista (what does, eh?), so I'm running FreeBSD which has supported the wireless card for three or four years. Love FreeBSD, ruv my rappy.
Become a brandy snob.
Become household robot obsessed. I love them so.
Still shacked up with the same guy. We bought a car, a chipper, and are about to buy two heatpumps. We're working on remodeling the house and landscaping the yard.
Have tried four more medications. One made me crazy suicidal, one made me flying-high stoned, one has done nothing but make me dopey, and one has done nothing. The other two haven't changed.
Got an $90 skater sack for $12...at that price I had to get it. Even if it is ugly, I wear it with pride and know that my lappy is safe in its well-padded, waterproof compartment.
That's life in the fast lane...

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
