A regular ol' crappy day.

I really would like a boring life. This morning Shermie, my darling boobah, had a massive seizure. He jumped off the bed and slammed his head into an extremely heavy (500lb)dresser about four months ago. He has had mild seizures up until today. So, I drive to the vet's office and the vet and I bawl awhile. This means I don't get my Shermie baby because the stress of having intact bitches around is too much for him, so we'll neuter him. One of the nicest males in the US and I don't get my baby. He so loves to show and he's going to miss it. Anyway, phenobarbitol should help. My poor little papoose. *sigh* I have the most wretched headache after crying away half of the day. I look sort of like a shriveled mudpuppy, really...

Well I only have the 1 puppy, and she has been desexed sicne we got her, this is mainly becuase she came from the RSPCA who desex any dog that comes through (unless it has a known owner).

It's just heartbreaking to me to see a dog who is healthy and an excellent specimen that can contribute so much to the breed rendered useless. Head trauma isn't genetic, but neither can you breed a dog with one.

Hey look on the bright side, now there is no way you will have to give the dog away.

He's MINE, I have my name on the papers. No one could get rid of him without my consent...which I would never give.

Thank you, he's feeling much better. Phenobarb must really take the edge off. smiley - laugh
