Hi ltp,
I thought I'd drop by and say how much I for one liked your posts in the Sirius threads in the Collective. It was an odd situation, because we were all hiding our own opinions, and hiding in our own sites, and then suddenly we come scuttling out of the woodwork, and find that we agree more than we thought we did. And considering how badly some of the others had been hurt I was impressed by how civilised all the threads were.
Enough rambling - it was good to see you there.
On another subject, I notice that you have started signing your posts B4, that's been confusing me. B4 uses it because he has four Bs in his full name, and I confess I envy the pun-fun he has with it. (I used to have pun-fun with 'a girl called Ben' because I would sign myself things like 'an interfering busy-body called Ben'). Anyways, I am a Ben of very little brain, and the B4 sigs confuse me. Would you revert to the ltp ones?
Take care, and see you around.
Ben

Hi B4 japes i take it you noticed april first
on the collective ,nuff said, the more "problems" that are discussed
openly the better, would still like to see the identitie of all postees before after and dureing moderation or premoderation.
With out a name posts can easily be attributed to some one else.

Unnerving isn't it? Especially since I get back from seeing 'Shaun of the Dead' and find Oetzi lurching around all zombie-like.

Guess what i did the other day.
Following almost two years of not haveing television(working)
in house i brought tv liscence on credit card.
I feel extremely strongly opposed to the powers that are attached to the BBC or there representatives in the collection of fee's.
Also the fact that for example i purchase a full years liscense say on 31 december paying 120 pound if i where to die on the 2 of jan,
the person that handles the estate would only get a refund of 100 pounds.all perfectly leagal.
Also the six months in advance or other special deals ,weekly payments if your on benifit again your expected to be six months ion advance at the end of first year.
oops rambleing

indeed!
When we got rid of our tv about 15 years ago, they sent us a form with a multiple choice of reasons for getting rid of your tv, most of them were to do with moving or not having enough money. None of them were because the only stuff on tv was crap and we did not feel the need for it in our lives any more.
I do have a tv now, but I still prefer the sounds and pictures in my own mind.
Thank god no-one charges a licence for the internet!

Yes i use to flick switch on in morning ,and use as background.
Since ,time imemorial, and asorb useless bits of information ,from this background chatter(tv)that is.
Also tend to wait for films released then shown on tv,be interested to see how soon the tv becomes more of computer than tv what with more and more interaction between the two(sky/ntl digi box) interactive programming "online cencuses" cleverly disguised as iq or personality test '
suppose i should be posting this on other thread ,maybe cross reference some time in future. C U later
