I have just left you a greeting in your Personal Space, hopefully it will help you understand what h2g2 is all about and will help you settle into our site.
May I take this opportunity to say that it isn't appropriate for anyone to bring over an arguement from another messageboard, it unsettles other Researchers as they cannot see what has gone on before. Perhaps you could ignore each other, or go into other threads instead 
Also, if you do find you are having problems within a thread please ask for help as any of our Researchers are only too willing to assist Newbies in hootoo, and will get you the help you require.
