a few places in pool are meant to be haunted these are:FOUNTAINS ABBEY PUBLIC HOUSE,LYDIATE-LYDIATE ABBEY,WALTON HALL,AND THE PHILHARMONIC HALL.
they are listed in a lot of paranormal guides to do with hauntings in the uk....

hi'ya carboot and hope your keeping well.
thanks for that info about the haunted places in the pool as the only one i know of that is haunted is speke hall as never heared about any of the other before plus can'nt say i've ever read any of the guides so i would'nt really know.
it's funny you mentioned that walton hall is haunted as i live in the walton area but the only walton hall i know of is the name of a street and not an actaul place so it was interesting to see you put that.
tell me abit more about you and have you been on any of the walks you've spoken of?
take care and bye for now.

hi ,no i'v not been to l'pool but those are listed in a guide of uk sites some of which i'v been to in the south.
got to say i'v only witnessed one event outside of a seance, which occured in berkshire,to do with a apple blossom tree which sheds its bloom at midnight on a certain day every year,on the site of a ancient death.
seances are where i'v witnessed the biggest paranormal event.

hello carboot
well i must say maybe i aint as clued up on the paranormal as i should be ....well with seances you never know wether the medium is for real or not as there's quite alot of fakes outhere who think nothing of taking people for a ride.
i've never been to see an actual medium before but have watched them on the tv and most of the one's i've seen have been pretty spot on with what they say.
so tell me about your experiance at the seance as i'm interested in hearing about this.

i'v been to several, but the most definate example of para norm was
a few year ago now.
my mate david held one,i was like everyone a total NON BELIVER in all that codswallop stuff, but i went along for a laugh and took my other mate who didnt know dave, along as well,he was a sceptic like me
even more so actually.
4 other people were there too, anyway who i sort of knew not well tho.
so,all fingers on the glass, alpha bet cards on table here we go!
upshot was:james who's over six feet tall and about 15 stone in weight
was lifted about a foot off the floor while sitting on a dining chair!!
he was as scared as anyone i'v ever seen,no acting,so was i terified
but he was returned to the floor after about,i duunno probably only about ten seconds ,but flippin eck,i'v been interested ever since.
but you'v got to see it to believe it so i dont tell many people cos they think i'm on a wind up-i dont blame them really.

i think i would of been scared stiff and all if that would of happened to me so can'nt blame your friend for being terrified.
well like most things your always gonna get sceptics which is'nt a bad thing in my opinion as it's good to challenge things at times but you see with the paranormal there's so much that can happen that can'nt be explained away by science and yet still people wont believe until their actually face to face with a ghost and even then i still think most of them would have doubts
