cloth ears

today is for not drinking and working out all the guitar bits on Cry me a river...the Julie London version - which is not easy. This is all a consequence of drinking as i am going to record the song on with somedbody who can really sing.......I could even put it on here when it is finished. If that can be done. Barney Kessell, the bloke playing guitar on said song was quite a bit better than me but I could probably outdrink him. Then again Jazz musicians...
Anybody got a definite idea of the chord progression up to the chorus? Kessell probably had more fingers than me.
oh hum

Being Clever
Posted May 18, 2003
I have spent the bulk of today marking exam papers for money and pondering that being clever is not anything like as clever as people might think. In our incresingly rote learned exam system we might be better off with a few wise people rather than so many who think they have a solid grasp on th etruth. Truth is that the answer never was 42, stuff is a whole heap less definite....pity
