My dream
Posted Jun 14, 2003
I must not have slept too well last night, because I had the wildest dreams. The one that sticks most in my mind is flying over my old home town. I wasn’t in any particular attitude, didn’t have my arms outstretched or anything, just hovering at about 150 feet and flying on will-power. I could see streets, parks and buildings laid out beautifully below me as I sailed in from the suburbs, banking for cornering and everything. It was quite a long and enjoyable trip - in fact, I didn’t really want it to end; but finally I arrived in the town centre and gently descended to do some shopping. At this point I decided it might be as well to have some clothes on, although I wasn’t sure what they would do to my flying. All in all, quite a fun dream!
