Here's a paragraph to enjoy.
It's hard to say what you'll find most breathtaking about the eternal city - the arrogant opulence of the Vatican, the timelessness of the Forum, the top speed of a Fiat Bambino, the millions of cats in the Colosseum, trying to cross a major intersection, or the bill for your latte.

This will do for now. If we senrd a minimum of $15 a month, we can adopt an old or handicapped cat from a distance from the cat sanctuary. I think we should pay them a visit to make a donation while we arte there.

That would be gatti. Not ghati. That seems more Eastern in spelling.

All the gatti everywhere. The main sanctuary thing is at Torre Argentina, in the ruins of the place where Julius Caesar met his end. Oooh! I am hoping to locate in on a map.

I found this:
They stopped by the Campo de Fiori, a popular and historical piazza. Its name roughly translates as 'field of flowers', which is exactly what it was in the 14th century. By the 19th century, it was the site of a popular outdoor market, the biggest of its kind, which still takes place each morning. Despite its poetic name, the square was also the scene of many gruesome executions, such as that of Giordano Bruno, the philosopher who was burned there in 1600, accused of heresy and, famously, the death of Julius Caesar.

You must tell me when I can stop looking for things. I think I should leave all the research to you and you can be my tour guide.

I am too busy and I got cruelly rejected for my appointment. But my TL says I can get the time off. It just has to go in as real time leave and be done in the relevant week. What time is my appointment? I may have to work the morning.

You have not got either 8th June OR 26th May. They will be able to arrange special hospital leave on productin of a letter from the hospital with the details on, but not otherwise. We shall have to phone the hospital regarding this, unless they are to send you out a letter confirming it anyway. If they will, Dave said you can get it sent care of him to here, and he will sort it out for you. We will have to phone the hospital on Monday if we heaer nothing.. Otherwise, you will have to try for a different day later in June with pre booked leave, maybe?

The hospital said they would send me out a letter so that shouldn't be a problem.

Good. I thought they may do such a thing. The give 2 hours hospital leaver, and then fill the rest with normal leave, Dave said.

nadia Posted May 11, 2006
Is there any substantive difference between normal and hospital leave? Surely it all comes out of annual leave?
