Hello,
My name is John, formerly known here in h2g2 as Researcher Eagle 1.
I've forgotten my old login info, but I decided (more of a whim than anything else) to get a new login and say hello to a few old friends.
I enjoyed meeting you in summer '03 (Wow, was it that long ago?), and being downsized really threw my life into a tizzy. Everyhthing's been very good since early '05, and I thought I might say hi.
I read a little of where you're at, and I hope stopping by and saying hello can give you some small measure of encouragement.
