i must admit to being a bit of a heathen..,i've read tons of books & watched the series..........so i'm off to buy it this weekend..

it's dead easy to get around here & everyones friendly..

so what you doing at the moment..

I'm at work waiting not very patiently for a new dvd player to be delivered hopefully this afternoon. I've got a corner desk though so it means I can play on the net and look like I'm workin'

Gotta admit, I haven't read the last hitchiker book yet - halfway through the Salmon of Doubt at the mo' and that's pretty funny. Been gettin' funny looks from other people on the bus cos I keep laughin'!!

So where in the world are you then? UK here....until October when I plan to go accross the water to Canada

aahhh poor you,i have'nt bothered to buy a seperate dvd player as i have a ps2..

i'm at work also unfortunately,but hey the weekend is almost upon us

i hailfrom a little place called ipswich in suffolk,although at this mo in time i'm actually in felixstowe on the dock..
canada sounds really good wot you hoping to do,is it holiday or are you planning to work there...

Planning to work there. My cousin lives there and is starting his own business so I'm hoping to cadge a job off him until I get myself sorted. I was s'posed to be saving but that's kinda gone out the window in the last coupla weeks. I'll start again in a week or 2.

Suffolk, eh? Ever been to Newcastle? I was really lookin forward to the weekend but then a few hours after I arranged to 'upgrade' it from just goin on the lash Monday to all day shopping and the lash Saturday as well I've been ill. Typical. Wot you up to this weekend?

well strange you should mention the beer...

working sat morning..& beer saturday night & sunday as a colleagues sons band is playing locally.

then off all next week doing nothing..

newcastle hey..uumm never been there,sounds like a good excuse to come up & have a beer though...

so what do you do & whats changed your mind or was it as simple as "shall i have a beer ...oh go on then twist me arm"..

Funny you should mention local bands playing on a Sunday afternoon as that was where I was last weekend; my friends are in a band and it's a great excuse to get sozzled in the afternoon ;-D

Must be nice to have the week off...what do you do? Are you doing anything in particular on your hol or just lying around?

The whole thing about Saturday started out as me and my best mate goin for a bit of shopping, which mutated into all day shopping then out on the beer afterwards. Quite how we got to that is still a bit of a mystery but I can only think it was me being a bad influence again. If I don't feel any better though I won't be drinking anything - that's how I know I'm really bad, when I can't stand the thought of booze.

I think I'm gonna give up on my dvd for today and go home. I need my bed
