Glad to hear someone else in the upper age bracket is hooked on this computer thing! Ever since I got this laptop and an e-mail address, I haven't looked back! Not yet a granny, but still hoping, I'm only in UK a few times a year to visit my daughter(my 2 others live here in France) where I've been an ex pat for more than 30 years (good grief!)So I'm overjoyed to "chat" with authentic Brits!(now I consider myself a bit of a hybrid) OK back to the serious stuff, hope my little visit was appreciated!

The visit was certainly appreciated. I enjoy people popping in to my space, they don't do it much IRL!!
As you say, I am of the upper age bracket, a granny to two boys and two girls, divided equally between two daughters! We all live within half a mile of each other and are very much part of each others lives.
I still work full time as a night shift worker, so most of my time on hootoo is at night, although I am on a week's annual leave at the moment and have thrown myself on the mercies of my very old and very slow home computer to come and see what's going on here.
Please feel free to drop in at any time and have a chat. My main hobbies are my grandchildren, gardening, eating out and perennially trying to lose weight! I do like to read, but I am afraid it either sends me to sleep, or I read a chapter and when I return to the book, the whole content has gone out of my mind and I have to read it again......... and again..........and again..........
