RE; TROOPSHIP #3

Dear Deborah, May I call you for HELp again??
I am puzzled:I wrote #3 story about Troopship, but had to write it on a different page from where I wrote it before. I had to re-write it from memory as I wrote it first as an answer to somebody.
This page was alien to me ,but I re- wrote the story from memory as best as I could. BUT;
1) I clicked on SAVE but I have no idea where it went to.
2) No place where I could make corrections. Since I
do not put writing on paper first I make corrections
after I finish writing.
3) No place to push a button to "SUBMIT".
4) Did my story go to the EDITORIAL BOARD??
5) I went tot my PERSONAL page but #3 was not on
that page yet.
6) Where can I find my story??? and is it possible to
still make corrections??
I am upset about this change as this was totally unexpected:No warning or anything.
I hope you can solve my problems as you did before. thanks very much , Josephine ,alias: ODYSSEY.

Deborah, Thanks for your answer.
Frank told me that the story got lost and that I had to re-write it.
I did and wrote #4 too.
One more to go! thanks for all your help,.
Josephine.

P.S. I hope you had a nice vacation!!

Hi Josephine,

It's always a good idea to write the story in Word or Notepad and save it onto your computer, then cut and paste it when you go to the Contribute page. You never know when the internet is having a little lunch break...

There's more info on how to do this in the Help section: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/ww2/Help-Technical#cutandpaste

Best wishes
Deborah
