2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Jul 8, 2008
I'll try hunt down those little tinny beads I have; they came from a friend (sadly now dead), who used to do a lot of that re-inactment stuff with swords and things and I guess the beads were for costume making/adorning... I remember ther eis a little film tub, like a standard camra film comes in, with loads of really incy little beads in it...

Oh, you know you love him really Give him best wishes from the old on hoo too, which he probably thinks is cranky
What a shame, I got rid of loads of beads a while ago If I come across any hidden in a nook or cranny any time I'll bear you in mind!
I agree that hobbies and interests beat housework any day, I have to show willing and do some or PHM keeps having a dig He should try it!!

P'raps PMH thinks *his hobby is having a dig?
Yeah.. any ikkle beads or glittery things will find a safe home with me,so I've maxed out on frames and having great fun.
I've given up trying to "sew" this sea,(too much like hard work;and besides, the reading bit of my varifocals needs to be re- prescribed so I can't see to do it anyway
After I've driven Son No 2 over to College I'll have a bash at knitting it with tiger tail wire.I can prolly get more texture that way
And the way *I* knit, there'll be plenty of nice irregularities.....
I have never been able to understand the way some clever buggers can work out whether they've plained or purled *just by looking*
Come to think of it, I've never been able to keep a regular number of stitches on a needle, either....
Maybe I should just make a Birfday Cake instead?
I'll pass on your good wishes to Son no 1
