Is this a CSO image from a future Dr Who episode in which the Rutan have invaded a convention to capture the Doctor and force him to use his TARDIS to wipe out the Sontarans...

Sorry i didn't quite get that! I havn't seen many of the old episodes. Excuse my ignorence.

Ah, well you've got plenty of time to catch up; 40 years of untapped energy reserves waiting to be syphoned. Just don't flush the waste down some mine shafts or else you'll have quite a pest problem! (See-The Green Death).

That and just behind your right shoulder the image has become very blurry; akin to the Nestene in Terror of the Autons!

What's really amazing is how all this is obviously a photograph yet I appear to be standing on the floor!

Oh, sorry... does that mean I have to keep quiet about why the scenery sometimes moves while we say still?

Yes, we'll just say that we're on the rotating jungle of Junglos famous for the ever-changing scenery, although it looks like the same jungle photograph everywhere.
Now, best we not pay attention to the microphone boom hanging just above us or that shadow cast behind us looking not unlike a BBC camera instead of a Dalek!

Sure thing... and we must remember that the bloke dressed in bubble wrap and tinsel which has been spray-painted green is scary, not funny.

I've seen earthshock, the caves of adozenti(spelling?) and the first one he was in.

The scenery wobbles?

Hoh yus!

For a truly bad example of dodgy scenery check out Underworld (starring Tom Baker) the majority of the story was filmed in CSO (Colour Separation Overlay... the BBC term for super-imposed or bluescreen) and then the 'cave' backdrops added in post production. It's truly dire.

But at least it's not Timelash.

I alway feel a tad out of my depth! I really should watch more of the old series, even if the scenery does wobble!

Definitely... watch as much of the classic series as you can!

And Caves of Androzani; pulse-pounding, action-packed extravaganza for the 5th Doctor to go out on, bit of a contrast though from the previous story.

Wouldn't you quake and wobble if you were making your debut on TV especially if a Dalek appeared!
