Hello mmh5y, It seems that OG isn´t here, at least s/he hasn´t posted recently.
You will receive a message of an ACE soon. They are the people who wellcome new visitors, or newbies as they are called here.

The site as you have been told already in the talking point is under a redesign.

For me this place has been very useful to improve my English. It is very motivating for reading and writing. YOu can write whatever you want from fiction, recipes, factual articles..., you can participate in conversations or start a new one. There´s a lot to do.
I´ve also met excellent people here and learnt a lot about many different things.
I´d recommend you to have a look and wander around the site to take a bit of its different flavours.
