It's going to be hectic soon. I have to get ready for that. I'm not afraid of doing well during the course because you will be helping me. Thanks for the bubbly, but I prefer tea as I'm a tea jenny.

The isn't for internal consumption! It's for bubbling and sparkling and purveying a feeling of joy while you sit happily sipping an endless supply of tea. You should consider yourself lucky you didn't win an 'important' motor race because such winners these days are required by ritual to spray bubbly all over everyone.

So, you're not afraid of doing well! I understand what you intend to say but that isn't quite the way to say it because doing well is not something to fear. I think I would say "I'm not afraid of not doing well".
{Actually, I probably wouldn't because as a rule I tend to phrase things positively unless I believe my meaning is better expressed in some other way. Thus, I would most likely say "I'm confident of doing well".
