Hello there, thought I'd drop by and say hi. 
Now that wasn't a very good message, but I can't think of anything else to say. 
I guess something that's longer than 4 words goes a little wrong...
Lord of the rings fanatic? Is that the books or the films? I think I like them about the same but for different reasons...

Both really. The books are greater than the films but that's just my opinion.
The films do what good films should - entertain. The books can be read again and again and you can always get something more from them. I can't say the same for the films - I have watched Fellowship about four times and Two Towers twice and I don't really have much desire to see them again.

Yes, the films are just films. I prefer books in general, as there's a lot more to them. 
I'll watch the extended version of TTT when it comes out, but other than that I don't expect I'll watch them again for some time.
